Introduction
Netflix has a ton of content. However, if you don’t know exactly what you’re looking for, sifting your way through the monstrous pile of content to find something you want to watch can be a headache. And while Netflix lets you access menus associated with high-level genres, it does make it easy for you to drill further into sub-genres. In this video, I’ll show you how to access hidden Netflix menus that show all of the content available for a specific sub-genre. The only catch is that you can only do this through a web browser, and you can’t access these secret Netflix menus through any of the Netflix apps. Examples of all instructions in the steps can be seen in both the YouTube video and image collection located below.
Steps to Access Netflix Secret Menu
- Open a web browser, navigate to Netflix.com, and then sign in to your Netflix account. You’ll arrive at your Netflix home screen.
- Make a note of any of Netflix’s sub-genre codes you want to see content for. Those codes are included below. For example, if you wanted to see Netflix’s secret menu for classic comedies, you would write down 31694. If you wanted to see Netflix’s hidden menu associated with historical documentaries, you would write down 5349. Or if you wanted to see Netflix’s secret menu associated with Vampire Horror Movies, you would write down 75804. I’ll include as many of these codes as possible in the video description, but for the full list you’ll have to return to these images in the video.
- Because I want to see Netflix’s hidden menu associated with crime documentaries, I’m going to enter “netflix.com/browse/genre/9875” after “browse” in the address bar for the web browser. Press “Enter.” The Crime Documentaries hidden Netflix menu appears.
