Steps to View Screenshots and Video Captures on PS5

  1. Click to launch the “Media Gallery” in the menu on your PlayStation 5 home screen. The Media Gallery screen opens.
  2. Click to select “All” in the menu at the top of the screen if it’s not selected by default to view all of the screenshots and video captures you’ve recorded on your PS5.
  3. Click the “Filters” icon on the left side of the PS5 screen to open a menu. Clicking “Sort By” in this menu brings up a sub-menu where you can choose to filter your PS5 screenshots and video captures on this screen by either date or size. Additionally, clicking “Media” displays a sub-menu where you can choose to see either just video clips or screenshots on this screen.
  4. Click to open one of your screenshots or video captures to view it. Your PS5 screenshot or video capture will be displayed in full screen. Moving a thumbstick or pressing a button will display a head’s up menu where you can choose to share your screenshot or video capture to a connected social media account, add it to your favorites, edit it or delete it. Additionally, you can also click more to bring up a menu where you can choose to copy this specific screenshot or video capture to a connected USB drive, or see metadata information associated with that screenshot, such as the creation date, time, size, who created it and more.
