How to Use Amazon Prime Video Watch Party

YouTube player

Introduction

While you’re trapped at home, Amazon Prime has rolled out a new Watch Party feature that still makes it possible for you to watch movies with your friends. Amazon Prime Video Watch Party lets you invite up to 100 other Amazon Prime members to watch a movie with you. The host has the ability to play, pause and scrub though the movie at any time, and users can all chat in a side menu. The only caveat is that the only option for people to either initiate or join a Prime Video watch party at this time is through a web browser. Examples of all instructions in the steps can be seen in both the YouTube video above and the image collection located beneath the steps.

Additionally, you can only invite up to 100 people. After everyone has entered the party you can use the onscreen controls to start playing the movie.
