Introduction
Linking your Facebook account to your Instagram account makes it easy to share pictures posted to one social media platform on the other social media platform. Additionally, linking your Facebook and Instagram accounts makes it incredibly easy to access your Instagram account if you ever get locked out. However, if you’d prefer to keep Facebook and Instagram separate and operate on each independently, you can easily unlink your Facebook account from your Instagram account. Steps to Unlink Instagram from Facebook
- Tap the image associated with your Facebook Messenger profile in the upper left corner of the screen. Your Facebook Messenger profile menu appears.
- Scroll down to the Preferences section, and then tap “Emoji” in the Preferences section. A Pick One menu flies up from the bottom of the screen. This menu displays the thumbs up icon in six different skin tones.
- Choose the skin tone you want all of your Facebook Messenger emoji to be displayed in. The Pick One menu will disappear after you make your selection. Now, the next time you open the Emoji menu in a Facebook Messenger chat, all of the emoji where the skin tone can be changed will be displayed with your chosen skin tone.
