Reasons to Disable PlayStation 5 DualSense Controller Vibration
There are a few good reasons to disable your PS5 DualSense controller vibration:
- Save Battery: While controller vibration is a great feature, it comes at the cost of reduced battery life. If you care more about getting the most out of your controller’s battery life and less about your controller vibrating, you may be better off turning the feature off.
- Physical Strain: Games where the controller is constantly vibrating can hurt your hands over time. If a particular game is vibrating so much it makes your hands hurt you may want to disable the feature.
- Noise: At higher levels the vibration intensity on the PS5 DualSense controller can be really loud. As a result, you may want to turn the feature off if the vibration sounds are bothering the people around you.
