If you’ve owned multiple Android devices, you’ve probably downloaded a lot of apps from the Google Play store — over time deleting the apps you no longer felt like you needed. However, if you’re having a change of heart but can’t remember the specific name of an app you deleted to reinstall it, Google makes it possible to see all of the Android apps you’ve ever installed through the Google Play store, and gives you the option to reinstall them if you want to. Examples of all instructions in the steps can be seen in both the YouTube video above and the image collection located beneath the steps.
Steps to See What Apps You’ve Downloaded from Android Google Play Store
- Tap to launch the “Google Play” app on your Android device. You’ll land on your Google Play home screen.
- Tap the “Menu” icon on the home screen to bring up a menu, and then click “My Apps and Games” in the menu. The My Apps and Games screen is displayed.
- Tap “Installed” to see a list of all apps currently installed on your Android device. Tap “Library” to see a list of all of the Android apps you’ve ever downloaded from the Google Play store that aren’t currently installed on your device. You can install any of these apps on your current Android device by tapping the “Install” button next to those apps.
