How to Reset Forgot Disney Plus Password

Introduction

The Disney Plus streaming service launched in late 2019 has content for everyone. The only obstacle to accessing the treasure trove of Disney Plus content is remembering your account password. If you forgot your Disney Plus account password, Disney makes it easy to reset your password on any of the platforms you access Disney Plus on, such as iOS, Android, Roku, Amazon Fire, Xbox, PS4, and more. Additionally, the process is the same on each device.

Steps to Reset a Forgotten Disney Plus Password

1. Either navigate to DisneyPlus.com/login or launch the Disney Plus app on your device. You’ll arrive at the Disney Plus login screen. Enter the email address associated with your Disney Plus account, and then click “Continue.” You’ll land on the Enter Your Password screen.
2. Click “Forgot Password” on the Enter Your Password screen. A message appears informing you to check the email inbox associated with your Disney Plus account.

3. Keep the Check Your Email Inbox message open in its own tab, and open a new browser tab and navigate to the inbox for the email account associated with your Disney Plus account. Open the email from Disney Plus with a subject line that says “Your One-time Passcode.” Locate the six-digit passcode inside the body of the email.
4. Navigate back to the Check Your Email Inbox Disney Plus screen and enter the six-digit code in the field on that screen, then click “Continue.” The Create a New Password screen appears.

5. Enter a new password for your Disney Plus account, and then click “Continue.” Your new password will be saved, and you’ll be taken to the home screen for your Disney Plus account. Now, when you’re prompted for your Disney Plus account password going forward, you’ll need to enter your new password.
