- Open the image you want to remove text from in Canva. In this example, I’ll do this on the Canva website.
- Click to select the image. A menu opens directly above the image.
- Click “Edit” in this menu. A menu opens on the left side of the screen. Find the Magic Studio section, and then click “Grab Text” in this section. Grab Text options appear on the left side of the screen, and any text blocks in your image will be outlined in purple.
- Click to select the text blocks you want to remove from your image, and then click “Grab.” Canva will take a few moments to process your request. When processing is finished, you’ll see the text you selected in the image is now in an editable text block.
- Click “Delete” to remove the selected text from your image.
