Introduction
With the rollout of iOS 16 for iPhone in late 2022 Apple added a Search button between your app screen and the menu tray at the bottom of the screen. This Search button is effectively a shortcut to access the spotlight search feature, which checks your searches against the apps on your device, the App Store, and the general web. Thankfully if you feel like this new search button is an eyesore Apple makes it easy to get rid of.
