Steps to Pay Netflix with PayPal
- Open a web browser, navigate to Netflix.com, and then sign in to your Netflix account if you aren’t signed in already.
- Click the drop-down arrow next to your profile icon at the top of the screen to open a menu, and then click “Account” in the menu. The Account screen is shown.
- Click “Manage Payment Info” in the Membership and Billing section. The Manage Payment Info screen is displayed, listing all of the current payment methods you have set up for your Netflix account.
- Click “Add Payment Method.” The Add Payment Method screen is shown, where you’ll see all of the available payment methods you can use to pay your Netflix bill. If PayPal is a payment method that’s available in your country, you’ll see it in this list.
- Click “PayPal” if you see it. An Enter Your Payment Details screen is displayed that will prompt you to continue through to PayPal.
- Click “Continue to PayPal.” The next screens prompt you to enter the email address or phone number associated with your PayPal account, and then your PayPal account password. You’ll land on a screen that lets you configure how you pay for Netflix with PayPal.
- Move down to the Pay With section and then use the toggle to choose whether you want to use your PayPal balance first to pay your Netflix bill. Next, move down to the Charge The Rest To section, and then choose where you want the rest of your Netflix bill charged to if you’re either not using your PayPal balance to pay or you don’t have enough in your PayPal balance. Alternatively, you can go through the process to add a new debit or credit card.
- Click “Agree and Continue.” You’ll be routed back to the Netflix Manage Payment Info screen, where you’ll now see PayPal added as a payment method. You may not see an option initially to make PayPal your preferred payment method, and you may need to wait a few days until you see that option.
- After you see the option to make PayPal your preferred payment method, click “Make Preferred” associated with PayPal. You’ll immediately see PayPal set as your preferred payment method for Netflix. Going forward your Netflix bill will be paid through PayPal.
