Introduction
Maybe your friend is having a hard time finding you on Threads. Or, maybe you’re trying to tell them to follow someone else on the platform, and they just can’t locate the account. Thankfully, Threads makes it easy to find either your profile link or another user’s profile link, so you can easily share it with other people and avoid miscommunication. I’ll show you how to find both profile link types in this video.

- Open the Threads app, and then tap the “Account” icon in the menu at the bottom of the screen. You’ll land on your Threads account screen.
- Tap “Share Profile” beneath your bio on the top part of this screen. A menu opens with a variety of options for sharing your Threads profile link. In this example I’m accessing this screen on my iPhone, but it will look similar if you’re on an Android device.
- Tap “Copy” to copy the URL to your device’s clipboard.
- Open Notepad or a similar text editing app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device, and then paste your copied text into this app. You’ll see your Threads profile URL, which can now easily be shared with other people on any platform.
Steps to Find Someone Else’s Threads Profile Link
- Open the Threads app, and then navigate to the profile of the person you want to find the profile link for. In this example I’ll navigate to the profile for my buddy Rob Unwraps. Rob is constantly cranking out gaming content and news, and right now he’s working to get his Starfield podcast called Starfield Pulse off the ground. - Tap the ellipses at the top of their profile screen. A menu will pop up.
- Tap “Copy Link” in this menu.
- Open Notepad or a similar text editing app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device, and then paste your copied text into this app. You’ll see that user’s Threads profile URL, which can now easily be shared with other people on any platform.
