How to Clear Your Spotify Queue

Introduction

Over time, it can be easy for your Spotify queue to get too packed to be useful. Thankfully, Spotify makes it possible to easily clear your queue. In this video I’ll walk you through how to clear your Spotify queue using both the Spotify mobile app and the Spotify.com website.

Steps to Clear Your Spotify Queue on iPhone, iPad or Android

  1. Launch the Spotify app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device.
  2. Tap to either play a song or podcast, or tap to expand the controls for a song or podcast that you’re currently playing. The onscreen controls are displayed.

  1. Tap the “Queue” icon on the screen. The Queue icon features three horizontal lines with a Play icon at the top of it. Your Spotify queue is displayed.

  1. Tap to place a check mark next to the items in your Spotify queue that you want to clear, and then tap “Remove” when you’re finished. The items you had a check mark next to will be deleted from your Spotify queue. Repeat this process to get rid of any other items.

Steps to Clear Your Spotify Queue on Spotify Website

  1. Open a web browser and then navigate to Spotify.com.
  2. Click to play either a song or podcast, and then click the “Queue” icon on the screen. The Queue icon features three horizontal lines with a Play icon at the top of it. Your Spotify queue is displayed.

  1. Click “Clear.” All of the songs in your Spotify queue will be removed.
