Steps to Change Your Name on Google Account
- Open a web browser and navigate to www.MyAccount.Google.com. You’ll land on your Google My Account home screen.
- Click “Personal Info” in the menu on the left side of the screen. Personal Info options are displayed on the right side of the screen.

- Navigate down to the Basic Info section and then click the “Name” field.

- Click the “Edit” icon to the right of your name field. You’ll see open entry fields for the first and last names associated with your Google account.

- Enter the first and last names you want to use with your Google account, and then click “Save.”

You’ll be routed back to the Name screen where you’ll see your new first and last names. It may take up to 48 hours before you see this change reflected in all of the services associated with your Google account, such as Gmail.
