Introduction
A Fortnite Crew subscription gives users VBucks, exclusive skins and items, and discounts on purchasing more VBucks every month. However, whether you don’t like the skins and items, or you just don’t play as much Fortnite anymore and aren’t getting the value out of it, cancelling a Fortnite Crew subscription is relatively easy. And be aware that when you leave the Fortnite Crew you won’t lose any of the skins or items you’ve earned through the Fortnite Crew, and all of those items will stay in your Fortnite locker. In this video I’ll show you how to cancel a Fortnite Crew subscription for someone subscribed through their PlayStation Network account. Steps to Cancel Fortnite Crew Subscription on PlayStation
- Open a web browser, navigate to www.PlayStation.com, and then log into the PSN account associated with the Fortnite Crew subscription you want to cancel.
- Click your Sony PlayStation profile icon at the top of the screen to open a drop-down menu, and then click “Account Settings” in that drop-down menu. The Your Information screen is displayed.
- Click to select “Subscription” in the menu along the left side of the screen. The Subscriptions Management window is shown on the right side of the screen.
- Find your Fortnite Crew subscription in this menu, and then click “Turn Off Auto Renew” associated with Fortnite Crew. The Turn Off Auto Renew pop-up window is displayed. You’ll be notified how long you’ll still have access to your Fortnite Crew subscription if you choose to turn off auto renew and cancel it.
- Click “Confirm.” The window will close and you’ll be routed back to the Subscriptions Management screen, where you’ll now see the date shown when your Fortnite Crew subscription will expire. You’ll still have access to all of the features associated with the Fortnite Crew through this date, at which time they will be turned off and your Fortnite Crew subscription will be cancelled.
Reasons to Cancel a Fortnite Crew Subscription on PlayStation
1. Cost
One common reason for cancelling a Fortnite Crew subscription on PlayStation is cost. Monthly subscription fees add up, and some players may find it difficult to justify the expense. If Fortnite Crew are too much, it may be time to let the game service go.
2. Lack of interest
Players may lose interest in Fortnite for a variety of reasons. They may tire of the same gameplay or find other games more engaging. Alternatively, if you’re paying for Fortnite Crew subscriptions for your kids, they may eventually outgrow the game and stop playing it.
