Steps to Cancel Amazon Unlimited FreeTime Subscription
- Swipe down from the top of the screen on your Kindle Fire to open a drop-down menu, and then tap “Settings” in the menu. The Settings icon looks like a gear. The Settings screen appears.
- Scroll down the Settings screen until you see Profiles and Family Library, and then tap “Profiles and Family Library.” The Profiles and Family Library screen appears.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the Profiles and Family Library screen to see a list of all of the profiles associated with your family library. Tap the child profile associated with the Amazon FreeTime subscription you want to cancel. That child’s profile appears on your screen.
- Scroll down to the FreeTime Unlimited section, and then tap “Manage Your Subscription” in the FreeTime Unlimited section. A menu appears in the center of the screen.
- Tap “Cancel Your Subscription” in the menu. An Unsubscribe from Amazon FreeTime window appears with a note that you can always subscribe to Amazon FreeTime again at any time.
- Tap “Unsubscribe” in this window. That Amazon FreeTime subscription will be cancelled and that account will be removed from your Amazon family.
What Happens If I Cancel Amazon FreeTime Subscription?
If you make the decision to cancel your Amazon FreeTime subscription, Amazon will actually issue a full refund from the data of your last service charge. Effective immediately, your child will no longer be able to access the Amazon FreeTime service, and any content they acquired through that service will no longer be accessible either. Finally, you can rest assured that any other content you’ve purchased for your child that is associated with his or her profile will still be available through your child’s profile.
